Berry-licious chia jam

I love jam but all the nasties in it never agree with me. So when I stumbled upon this recipe, I got excited. Full-proof, super tasty and ridiculously easy. And for those with little ones it is a must try recipe. Actually, this is so delicious it is a must try for everyone.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups of your fave berries (fresh or frozen)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
2 tbsp chia seeds

METHOD

Cook the berries and maple syrup in a saucepan for around 7 minutes. Mash them a little with a fork.

Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and chia seeds. Put it in a container and pop it in the fridge. Let the chia seeds work their magic for about 30mins. After 30mins or so enjoy your delicious, nastie-free berry jam.
