Tumeric tea with a twist

Living amongst Melbourne's amazing food culture there are some nights when I have been eating and drinking out late the night before, this means I need to start the morning with a little love for my digestive system and most likely the liver.  For me, this means increasing my alkaline foods and reducing my acidic foods for the next 12 hours. This sounds boring but just by adding a little more anti- inflammatory food to my daily routine helps to nourish my digestive system and liver which reduces the inflammation in turn, giving me more vitality, less fluid retention, puffy eyes, lethargy and overall helps my general well being.

This tea in the morning helps to reduce the acidity in the stomach that increases overnight and balances it to a more alkaline Ph overall giving your body the best kick-start the day.
